Lot Of 4 Daguerreotypes And An AmbrotypeHere is an interesting lot of antique daguerreotypes and a lone ambrotype. The daguerreotypes are all sixth plate size and the ambrotype is a ninth plate. The dag of the woman in the gutta percha case still has its original seals but the cover ot the case is badly damaged. She is a very pretty woman in a niec floral dress. The case is markde holmes, booth & haydens' daguerreotype photographic and ambrotype goods. She is also holding a daguerreotype case in her hand. Next is a daguerreotype of a woman in half leather caes with a floral design. The dag still has its original seals. There is soem haloing around the edges. Next is a daguerreotype of a man in a half leather case. He doesn't retain the original seals. The image also has some issues, looks like mildew on the photo.Next is a dag of an amish looking man with a beard but no mustache. He hsa his hand resting on a table. There is osme haloing to this one as well. Next si an ambrotype of a cocky looking young man with wild hair. He comes in a half leatehr case with texas star in the center.
