No cracks or breaks ot thermoplastic. One very tight ahirline at the clasp spring. Some wear to high points of design and minro flea bites on edges. Interior si very nice with no damage. Image is young well dressed man. I do not know what type of image it is. Slight looseness of hinges but works well and snaps closed. Circa 2nd half 19th century. It measures apprxoimately 3 high by 2-1/2 wide by 7/8 deep.
