Cased 16 Tintype Of A Gruffy Old Man With A Top HatGruffy old man photographer unknown 1/6 plate tintype, ca. 1862-1865 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 splendid character! This old man doesn't seem too happy. His yees are focused downward. He wears a modest top hat, a neatly trimmed beard, a bow tie, a muti-buttoned vest, and a large heavy unruly coat. Despite his rough exterior, this man conveys a measure of dignity. Condition excellent. Sharp and clear. The image is housde in a full leather case with a weakened spine.
