Beautiful 16 Tinted Ambrotype Lady With A Large BonnetBeautiful bonneetd lady in profile photographer unknown 1/6 plate ambrotype, ca. 1862-1864 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 what a beautiful classic composition! The lady has had hre dress, hat, lips, cheeks, and eyes painted. It's a very pleasing and dramatic ambrotype to look at especially that she is posed in a 3/4 position to the camera. This image certainly has what i acll the wow factor. Condiiton excellent. Sharp and clear. The image is housed in a full leather case with a repaired and weakened spine. There are a couple of abrasions around the mat opening and a small piece of emulsion missing on the top backside of the hat. Postage please add $5.00 for priority mail.
