19Th C Leather Jenny Lind Sixth Plate Photograph CaseA 19th century leather jenny lind sixth plate photograph case. It measures 2 3/4 by 3 1/4 inches. These cases typically held daguerreotype, tin type & ambrotype photographs. This case depicts jenny lind on one side & a maiden holding a cornucopia on the other. The interior is lined in purple velvet with an urn. The lgass & brass frame are both there & fully intact. The only siginficant wear is separation at the spine. I charge what the post office charges plus delivery confirmation, signature confirmation plus a very nominal handling fee of 1.00 to cover shipping material. Delivery or signature confirmation is not required if insuarnce is purchased. All items with be shipped with care, glass & fragile items will be double boxed. If you look at the auction page, it will show an automated shipping price. If it is ridiculously high for some reason, please let me know & i wlil adjust it. Insurance is up to you. The usps does a pretty good job, but stuff does get lost or damaged once in a while. There is no way i can be responsible for it once it is in the mail.
